Default Buddy Clubs Coilovers

Hey I just got a set of BC's installed today and had them set to about 1-2 finger gap all the way around. I have heard alot about them being really loud and stiff but mine are making more of a thumping sound. I am pretty sure I'm not hitting the fenders but it happens anytime there is any type of dip in the pavement. Does this sound normal for those with the BC's? Thanks
Jason

Wheres the noise coming from? Front or back. It is probaly the front ones hitting the A arms. You need to adjust the fronts better.

^ Yea the noise is coming from the fronts. I guess I will take it back to gruppe-s to get it adjusted, or how hard would it be for me to do myself. Thanks

Its not hard, but just a lot of work. A lot of up and down to get it to clear the arm. If gruppes will do it let them.

I think the dampers maybe defected. Talk to the place where you got them from and ask them to replace them for you and I think that should be under warantee.

The installation is pretty straight forward and it shouldn't make any noise.

My Buddy Clubs don't make any noise. I do have them set really stiff though, so if I hit a bump or pothole at speed, there is a pretty severe jolt on the car. There's also a loud "bang" kind of sound that goes with it, but nothing I would consider abnormal.

Do you see any marks on the A-arms or coils from contact?

Yea mine make that loud "bang" noise but it doesn't have to be a pothole or anything huge, even over some of the smallest bumps in the road it will bang pretty loud. And it's only in the fronts, not the back at all. I will take a look at them tomorrow and let you guys know what I see. Thanks
