clunk noise from coilovers

Default clunk noise from coilovers

hey guys im getting a clunking or popping type noise from my passenger front coilover..it mainly happens at low speed when driving in a straight line i dont notice any noise but at slower speeds and like turning into a driveway slowly it clunks..any clues guys thanks!

Got the same problem but have no coilovers... Inner CV joints maybe?

^ thanks man but i dont think thats it because it happened right after the coilover installation and it was fine before

I get the same thing with my Tein Mono. Do yours have pillowball mounts?

Coilovers are usually a little bit noisier, though.

yea its got pillowball mounts..its kinda annoying but its weird because it didnt do it when i first installed it then i heard it and it kinda got worse.. i love the drop though..is that just how its gonna be with these type of mounts?

do you have any preload? could be the coil moving around when it's not-loaded.
