one dealer i spoke to had a build date of 10/05 for their silver/red, which has arrived. the dealer i ordered from had a build date of 10/08 for their silver/black, which i put my money on. the first car hit the first dealer yesterday (14 days after build) even though i was told ship time is usually 21 days from build date (this is the east coast). what's been your luck with the time differential? if i follow the pattern above, mine will be in monday or tuesday! *hopehopehope* any opinions?

 

People here can be very accurate if you post your "order number".........

My dealer told me 6 weeks from build and it took 4 to get my 02 vin# 000064

 

My car was apparently on a boat from Japan when I ordered it on June 9 this year. It's build date is April 2001 (ie 04/01 in UK and AU date format), and it was complied in Australia in June 2001. I picked it up June 23 2001 (two weeks after ordering it). Not sure whether the variance in international date formats is causing any confusion here??

According to the dealer this is about as quick as they get them through (ie the car's build date is usually a couple of months before delivery). Also not too sure how long it takes for a car to get to Melbourne, Australia as compared with the US from Japan though...

I just found out about my built date for my Suzuka Blue S2000- 10/11/01.

The dealership does not know when it will get here but they are estimating Nov. 15.

I will probably have one of the first Blue S2000's in Canada if this is the case!

 

Mine was built in 02/01 and I received mine on March 21.

 

just for fun today i decided to torture myself and go look at the silver/red at the dealer i didn't like... didn't care for the red, but the silver had a nice quality to it (still like silverstone better, but oh well)... what i did NOT like was it's vin - 000164... mine is 000554... not a good sign. oh well, i guess i'm gonna keep on motorcycle commuting
