those M04-L's are hard to come by.. i was looking for one before. this thread reminds me that i still need to build Jae an RC car.. damnit i need money, lol.

At the time I was assembling all the things I needed, Tamiya USA had extra S2000 bodies available. You may want to check with them to see if they have any more.

As with all Tamiya bodies, this one is very realistic (though an AP1). The body that HPI made for the S2000 was not realistic at all as has been mentioned here.

This is true, you can use the Miata which is what I got and also an Alpha Romeo Giulia so long as you get the S2000 body for it. The M04 can be built to different wheelbase lengths so you just build it to fit the S2000 body.

You can download the S2000 build manual from the Tamiya web site for this info as well as for the part numbers if you have to piece your kit together as I did.

I hope you plan on running half shaft spacers, that thing is pretty low
