Default Bumper Foam

I'm thinking about replacing the impact absorbers (foam) inside the rear bumper. I tried a search, but I couldn't the answer. How is the foam attached to the metal frame? clip? bolt? glue?

You could take your bumper off & look. It's a 10 minute job.

From what I recall, they aren't really "attached". Seems like they just "fit" in there. If you take the bumper cover off, they'll quite easily fall off. It's been a while since I had my bumper off, though, so my memory could be wrong.

It's not.
there's a hole on the bumper frame, and the foam kinda fits into it. It's not even snug.

If it's anything like the front it will just fall off when you remove the bumper.

The front one just rests against the beam and gets pinched by the bumper cover. Apparently from the above rear is similar.
