Default Bumper woes ... What to do?

This morning I realized a few scratches the size of a dime on my rear bumper. They must have been from the groceries store the night before. I couldn't believe some people could do something like that to other's property and just took off. Anyway, the paint around the scratches are all peeled off, exposing black material underneath. What's the best way to cover up? Touch up paint? I haven't had any luck with touch up paint on my accord. Any advice? How much a new MY04 rear bumper will cost me? TIA

If you want a blended appearance, I would just get it repainted. Should be around $100-200, I would think.

After you repaint, you might want to consider 3M's paint protection film. I put all the pieces on my '04 myself. (The nose is a BITCH!) It's not cheap, but it's really tough stuff, and barely visible. It's already saved my nose from an airborne chunk of tire tread the size of a baseball.

Check out www.invinca-shield.com

I figured out early on that my Rio Yellow '04 would look like sand-blasted crap real quick without it.
