Default Need help w/ touchup spray for bumper

some lowlife hit my rear bumper and ran.. so i'm left w/ pretty signficant areas where the sebring silver paint has come off and the bare black plastic is visible. Fortunately the bumper is intact w/ no dents.

I heard that Honda oem touchup paint is impossible to work with, so somebody told me to use a spray paint?? Has anyone done this, and if so w/ good success please let me know how to do it.. thx!

you will really want to consider a body shop painting for this, imo...

can get you info on how to do it yourself, but unless you are very experienced, you wont likely like the job-

If you do not want to take the car to a bodyshop, I would recommend looking in the phone book for an Aerocolours or something similar. They are a mobile paint touch up company that will come to you and airbrush touch up paint in rock chips and they can fix bumper scratches and scuffs to where you cannot tell it happened for a lot less than what it would cost for a bodyshop. A neighbor of mine backed his car into the side of his garage and scraped up his rear bumper pretty good and he had metallic paint too. He had a guy come out from Aerocolours and after he was done, the bumper looked flawless and I think he spent about $100.
