Is the Button fun, or just a gimmick?

Aus models don't require the clutch ritual either. Is France LHD or RHD?

Fun and perfect for this car. I relish the privilege of driving this car everytime I push it.

France is LHD like the rest of Europe (except GB, of course). I love the start button. Evidently so does BMW since they opted to put it on both the Z8 and the (I think) M3. There's also any number of private aircraft that are started via a push button, as well as many other race cars besides just Honda.

I would love to be able to just get in the car and push the button! No turning the key. Though that would be a bit hard.

LOVE THE BUTTON!

The reason we have to depress the clutch is we're a lawsuit happy society. Every time the carmakers loose a big chunk of cash, the result is another required feature. Hence the trunk release, clutch switch, airbag switch, etc.
As far as the start button. I'm looking forward to the gimmick. I think it's cool. Kind of puts you into the race car driver state of mind. When I want to criuse I'll drive the wife's V6 with all the controls on the steering wheel.

I like the button, I just wish the keyhole was on the left also, so that I can do the entire start procedure with my left hand while I use the right to do other things like work the glove box, top latches, seatbelt, gearshift, whatever, sunglasses, or whatever.

One side benefitt is the ignition switch will probably last forever, less complicated.
