Keep the 02, but "pretend" that you brought the 05 and make "payments" to your saving account for the extra amount you would be paying each month for the 05.

I would NOT sell an 02 for an 05. The reasons FOR are not very compelling. The models are really not all that different to justify the financial hit. I vote to keep the 02.

I just traded my '02 on an '04 last December and I love the new car, but with only 16k your car still is soooo very new, I would hang onto for a while...

Get the new rims though, they are sweeet!!

Test drove a 2005 today. Definately decided not to buy 2005. Don't like the interior changes. Don't like all the silver inside. Can only get black interior with berlina. Did have more power starting off. Love my solid red interior even more now. Dealer looked at me all crazy when I returned (let me have it alone) because they could see me driving like a maniac checking it out

And I have been told by numerous dealers that the body is wider on a 2004 and 2005. Did some checking, the outside width is the same, but the interior width seems wider because they redesigned inside for more room. So those salespeople are loons.

Got quoted a good price, though. $29K, so I know I could definately get it less than that, because that was the first price they gave me.

Thanks for all your input. Glad we all came up with the same decision .

If you had 50-60k miles I could understand but 16k?? I have more on my 03.

Definitely keep your 02. Like you said already the all red for the US is a rarity and those shopping specifically for that in the future might pay a little premium for it.

edit - replied before getting to the end. glad you decided to keep the AP1. 16k is barely broken in.

I'M KEEPING IT. I really do love it. Never thought of getting a new one. Hubby suggested it. Thought I would check into it. Did. My boy (my car is a boy) and I will definately stay together.
