I am really looking into this one
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=779761

I have gotten some pics of it and he agreed to lower the price a little bit. I was thinking about flying out there and picking it up. I have relatives close to him that I could have check it out first. It is newer with low miles and has a lot of the mods on it that I want. (like wheels)

is it a good deal?

No picture, hard to give you any advice. Imo if I can pick that up everything(like your fly cost/gas etc) under 15k, I'd take it. (if it is good condition)

This will give you an idea. I picked my 05/57k milies for 16 even+tax etc from dealer(about month ago). I've looked around for months in local, mine was ok deal for buying from dealer. Not good or not bad. Ofcourse private will be little lower than that, but I didn't mine for paying little bit more for what I like/want.

Well I have pics of it and it all looks great. And those wheels on there aren't cheap along with some of the other stuff he has listed. Umm the carfax is clean. I assume I should have a shop check it out or something??

If the mods are important to you it may be a good buy since it is something you would probably do anyway. As for value, the car is probably worth only bluebook and the mods would add little or nothing to the selling price ove a stock S2000.

Thanks for the replies. I am still interested in the car I listed. We are trying to work out a sale but ran into a road block. He has a loan out on the car from a credit union.

Currently we are trying to find out away for me to get the title and the car in one shot. I have some relatives that live near him and agreed to give him a cashiers check that I have already made out and is in the mail to my cousin. They would then pick up the car and it would stay at my cousins house until the car carrier could transport it. Only problem is the credit union has the car title and he needs to pay it off before he can get the title. But I don't think it is a good idea to just give the guy a cashiers check and take then car then hope I get the title some how.

Anyone know a solution to this problem?
