Have your cousin go to the credit union with him. Get the title before he leaves. Make sure they call ahead so the credit union has it handy.

 

It doesn't look like it is going to work out. The credit union he is a part of is far away from him and my cousin and they are only open M-F during the day. He claims the only way he can get the title is if he gets the money first and I'm not going to hand over the money to him before I get the title. Who knows if he can even get it with the money, he owes a lot on it still. Plus I doubt anyone will drive over an hour with him to the credit union on a weekday or give them thousands of dollars and hope it all works out.

 

well I'm working out a deal to get this white s2k. If all goes well I will get it on friday. It has a little bit more miles then Id like and is only an 01 but it has some modes and it is way under what I can afford which means more money for mods. yea!!

Well It all went good. I have a pic from my phone. It is raining out now. amazing car. I think I shit my pants when I red lined it in second. Vtech is scary. It is my first MT car but it seems like I easily got comfortable with a stick after a day.

Few questions now that I have the car:

I have two tweeter speakers in the car and an after market stereo. It doesn't seem like the tweeters work and the owner said the car only had the two stock speakers. I have no idea of the speakers are just blown, or not hooked up, or just got annoying and the owner unhooked them.

I also don't have the tools for the spear tire. (jack and everything) there is just a hole in the trunk where those things are supposed to be. It is more room for luggage I guess and I was probably going to take it out anyway to put a sub in or something. I was just wondering if it is bad that it isn't with the car or anything like that.


I was also wondering how you can tell if the clutch is going. It has about 80k miles on it. I just don't know how you can tell if the clutch is going. The previous owner had an extended warranty for the car (I didn't get it transferred to me because he was able to cash it in for the remaining miles) so I assume if there was something wrong with it or anything on the car he would have replaced it under the warranty. The previous owner was also a mechanic so he would have know if there was something wrong.

I also spent less money on the car so i have a lot of money to spend on mods. Although it has two sets of new tires (1 summer and 1 winter) so it seems dumb to buy new larger wheels. I originally wanted new wheels but the 16s don't look bad on the s2k because the car is so small. I was just going to drive the car for awhile and buy the mods that seem fit. I was also thinking maybe a SC but it is going to be my DD so I don't know if i should do that or not. let me know what u think
