Default buying an S, need advice

Im looking at 4 different S2000s so far.
What are you guys opinions on which to buy and why, thanks
Right now I have $12,500 to go toward the car plus my del sol. Would be financing the rest.

Also, if you have any advice on things for me to look for when buy that would be very helpful too.

Thanks,
james

I'd personally go for the '02 (option #4)

even with it having a lot more miles than the others and being more expensive?

Why?

Personally, I would probably go for option #2. 11,00 miles and slightly under 20 grand. Unless the options are really important to you, it looks like the best deal. Options 3 and 4 seem to have too many miles for my taste in light of the cost (especially option 4, highest cost & second highest mileage!)

Any idea what you could get in a private sale for the del sol?

3K difference in mileage isn't a big deal plus resale value will be a lot better. And you don't need to worry about the TSBs that come with the MY00 and 01.

its like 30,000 miles diffence not 3,000

Although the blue is nice.
Are there any problems with the blue interior?
All the red interiors I saw looked dirty all the time.

if it was between #1 and #2 which?

I know #1 is kept well by the owner, but #2 only has 11,000 miles so It cant be hurt too bad.

I'd take option #2 if the car is in nice shape. that seems like a pretty good deal considering the mileage.

either #1 or #2 definately. if youre gonna leave it mostly stock, get the one with the spoilers/alarm and whatnot. if you plan on modifying and possibly adding those parts on afterwards, get #2. The second one is very close to what i bought in april. i bought an 00 with no options and 12,500 miles for around 22k. The car was a leased car until i got it (carfax) and im the 2nd owner. Its in great mechanical condition just make sure the TSBs are done. The only negative is the plastic window, but if youre set on this car, you can always get an 04 top w/glass. good luck!
