Default Buying an S2000

I have been looking at several used S2000. I am going to test drive a 2002 with 17000 miles today. He came down some and is at $21,500. Is that a good deal that car. I have just gotten into the market, I've looked at a few, but still don't know what is a good deal and what isn't. Thanks for the help

Its all subjective. Look at Blue Book, look at the car, and make your own comparisons.

I'd say that is a very fair price if the car is in nice condition. Color, pics, location?

It is a good deal if not with a salvage title. I would check carfax to make sure and see the history on the car. If it isn't a salvage that is very good mileage and a fairly reasonable cost.

Keep looking if your not sure. I looked on Ebay for 2-3 weeks and finally found one. I placed the bid left it and won it for 16,500! This came with exhaust, intake, and Apexi fuel/air managment system. Take your time and find what you want. If that is the car you love then get it! Good luck and have fun!

Went and looked at the car, its is in great shape. Silver, red interior. He said he has had it listed for several months so I don't think there is any big rush, I'm going to keep looking just to see. Car dosnt' have a salvage title, but I havn't ran a Carfax. Thanks for the input. I'm sure I'll be using the board more in a couple weeks or so whenever I find the one I can't live without.

Keep shopping, BSH. I payed $22.992 for my second S; Honda certified, in excellent condition and with but 15.600 miles. I also got them to throw in a Honda car cover, a shop manual and an S2000 hat. Be patient.
