BUYING A USED S2000
Hello everybody,
I have been a honda driver for years but never owned an s2000. I am going to be getting a used s2000 this year just wanted to get a heads up on what to lookout for when buying a used s2000.

Look for holes in the top, no strange noises coming from differential, and check the driver window operation when putting the top up and down.
If I were buying again I'd get an 04+ (or at least an 02 for the glass window) but since mine still has less than 30,000 miles it hardly seems worth it.
The 04 gives you the slightly bigger engine, upgraded differential, glass window, improved suspension and larger wheels and shiny radio door.

Pretty common stuff that you would look for in ANY used car really, but as stated check for soft top wear, diff. noise, etc. Carfax it too, can't go wrong there, just to be sure.
vader1 stated the changes with the 04+'s: those were what swayed me to go ap2 over an ap1, not to mention I found mine with hardly ANY miles on it. And the 8k rev instead of the 9k is still a ton of fun.
