Nice Accord. Hope you like it. Personally, I would have purchased a BMW 3 Series if you were going to move away from the S2000.

There are always haters everywhere.

Personally I too would have gone with the CL-S....good choice. I would much rather have the reliability and hp than the over-priced German 3-series POS.

I like th CL-S but I would have waited for the Infiniti G35 Coupe 280HP/270 ft lbs + rear drive, just my opinion though. PT

I'm doing much better (quality-wise) with my 2002 S2000 than I did with my 2000 3.2TL.

My TL had bad paint, cheap leather, poor warm starting, and was boring to drive (too heavy). It had obvious quality shortcuts, manufacturing and component wise (I guess to be made in USA).

I hope they have sorted all the quality stuff out, and the sportier engine and manual transmission give it the attitude it needs. I don't agree a 2-door is that much more practical, but hey.

Best of luck!

Isn't that going to be redesigned by next year on the new accord platform?

Well you car is a 02 destiny..mine on the other hand was a 00...now if you had an 00 going from your TL i can bet you that would would think differently. As far as the infinity...i had a 95 Nissan 240SX. wouldnt have another nissan..the build quality was 2nd rate. Car and driver or road and track just had a comparison Test against compact sedans..out of 8 the sentra come in 6th or 7th...main reason..build quality..the Hyundia elantra came in 2nd behind the Mazda protege... Whats my point..Nissan has a history of cuttig corners to sell a product cheaper. I wouldnt have it. Heavy or not..the CL is fast and with the Torsen LSD...it feel awesome when you power out of a turn.

Lata guys..

Its called Aegean Blue Pearl. The new Accord V6 is already out.. MY dealer just got 2 new coupes at there dealership. The Accord has the 3.0 still...HP is 240 with TQ 212. vs 3.2 HP 260 with 232 TQ. in the Type S. The accord is lighter so performance is supposed to be similar..the CL does 0-60 in 6.1 and vtec.net did the 1/4 mile adjusted for temp at 14.2 @ 98mph...the car really pulls and one thing the CL has that the Accord doesnt is the Torsen LSD.. IT really pulls when you give the car power exiting a turn. Hope that helps....
