A/C Issues

i think the on/off cycling is normal. although, mine does make a faint whistling noise (sounds almost like a siren far off in the distance) when it kicks on, but only for a second; anybody else have this?

its normal, a/c cycling.
if you put the air to 'recirculate' you'll notice the difference less and it would be colder overall. it's a tradeoff. i noticed this in all honda products. german products seemed better but they are really stinky.

I used to have a BMW 3 series for like 6 months and my A/C on that smelled like shiet when i first turned on the a/c. it was pretty disgusting...
