Thumbs up cold starts?

i was just wondering how much trys does it take for your s2k to start?
im in colorado and it gets a bit below freezing.

first try the engine only feels like 2 cylinders are fireing and it shakes like crazy. (
then dies)then second, it starts and goes to 2k rpm and dies
third time the rpm stay at 2k and warms up.

i was just wondering if this was normal?!?!!?!?

Mine does it once before it will start up and run. Started doing it after I installed my giles tuned emanage ultimate. I originally thought that had to do with it but I've read that quite a bit of s owners experience this issue

if it's below freezing Honda (and Exxon/Mobil TSTL) strongly recommends that you switch to 5w-40

you might want to try and give it A TINY bit of throttle the first time you try and start the car. Otherwise, it might be electrical.

try leaving the key on the #2 position for a few seconds longer before starting the car. that would give the fuel pump time to prime.
