No I did not have access and time trials with the Air Guide off and on but I did with Mingsters CAI. I had to cut the air guide to fit it through so when I did my testing with the air guide in place it had a gaping hole in it!

I beg somebody to do some scientific testing. I have and I know my results. AKA: More consistant power. It feels like it has more torque pull but thats probably in my mind.

Hopefully this weekend I can do some side by side pulls with another S owner. Which will not prove much but would be fun to do.

Real world results. That'd be tight. This is something I would be very interested in reading about.

But I still assert that removing the air guide does NOT provide any speed gains, whatsoever, on a stock airbox equipped S2000.

Axcilla,

Initially, after I found out my results of the grill temperature tests with the big help of RT, I lost respect for you and your products. But then you went on to run your own independent tests and posted findings of the front grill while being fully aware of how sensitive product success is to negative evaluations. I called you out and you showed up.

You're definitely somebody I'd do business with in the future just because I know you're honest and truly interested in manufacturing quality S2000 products.

Thanks, man.

After all, the intake tube is exposed to the ambient heat of the engine bay.
