i was considering purchasing the RM Racing front frame cover, but its a tad too 'bling' for my tastes. what other options do i have to cover the unsightly and unpainted front frame?

 

I had a custom piece designed by the father of a fellow member. He had some sheet metal in his shop that was the perfect matching red to the valve cover...took him less than 10 minutes to measure, cut, and bend a simple cover that covers most of the cross brace and still allow me unfettered access to the bay. Not sure if I have pics around of it, though...

I installed a custom carbon/kevlar "rail cap."

Oh, guess I misunderstood exactly what piece bkw was talking about...my cover is on the cross brace just in front of the engine.

Actually, mine sits inside of the channel, not on top.

and yes, that's the piece this thread is about.. but kodokan, that piece you have is absolutely beautiful! wonder if whomever made that for you would be able to make one to cover the front frame cross brace.
