Default CAI- Worth it? Which one?

I've been reading alot about CAIs, particularly the AEM CAI. I'm interested in getting one, but looking for some opinions. It's boasted to give +15 hp and +12 ft-lb of torque. Is this true, and is it a noticable gain?

Is AEM the one to go with? Has anyone seen anything about their new V2 CAI, and if so can you comment? Thanks

Yes, it's a good relativly cheap mod that does as said. The +15 hp is at the high end of the spectrum. 4IG sells an good AEM style for about 1/2 the price. There are alot of intakes available. Be ready for a change in the engine noise (more of it). Most people like the added growl, but some don't.

I have one of 4IGS2000's intakes and it's great. The butt Dyno says
the sound is nice and the K&N filter is the best part. It's a great deal for the $

I'm moving to california soon, but won't be registering there b/c I'm in the military, will I have any problems (do you have to emissions testing there if you're not registering?)

Also, does CAI affect the warranty in any way?

CAI doesnt really affect warranty with Honda, unless your car is damaged and the problem was caused by the CAI. With our CAI, it can install in about 1 hour. If you are in the military you guys have it easy for smog and registration
it shouldnt be a problem
thanks!
If you are worried about Smog/Carb i would go with the AEM or Injen intake!
CARB only applies to California registered vehicles
