camera mount

Video quality is going to depend on your camera, I assume. Audio quality won't be very good unless you find a good place to mount a remote mic such that it won't get abused by wind noise.
Here's an example of a video taken from my car. I'm using the MG Racing mount, IIRC.
Keep in mind, this video is compressed to conserve bandwidth.
Right click, save as...
I use a wide angle lens, and it allows me to see the full windscreen, as well as the dash/speedo, and the gear selector, if positioned properly. I think at my next event, I'm going to set my camera to widescreen mode to see what it looks like (since I'll be getting a widescreen TV soon).

If you're interested in a camera/video mount for the front bumper tow hook then you might want to contact SC_Highlander. I know he's made a bunch in the past that have worked really well. Inexpensive too. Might want to PM him.
