Default Can anyone give me convertible top hack info?

I saw the info before and tomorrow I'm going to have the "glove box" panel removed when some stereo work is done and I want to do the convertible top hack. However I can't find the info because the search function on this website is broken. Can anyone give me the instructions or provide the link?

Here's what I know:
Cut the speed sensor wire which is black/white (maybe with silver dots).
Cut the E-brake wire (green/white) and ground one end (I don't know which end but I suspect it's the end connected to the connector.

Thanks

On a side note, I recommend that you leave the e-brake sensor on (so that the top doesn't move when you accidently hit the roof button while driving).

I agree. You click the e-brake one click and the top will go up and down. You do not want to eliminate all the safety features.

Yeah, I left the e-brake alone too. One click on the e-brake and you're all set.

yeah, don't cut the e brake wire. That light will stay on btw if you do. It's easy to just pull the ebrake up one click. It won't engage the brake and it keeps the button from being accidentally pushed.

Actually, I don't think it does - someone in the linked thread did it and reported no issues. I never clipped that wire b/c I wanted the security measure in place - just clip the speed sensor bypass - I ended up connecting it to a Modifry DCI when I installed my HU - speed variable volume rocks!
