I don't know what all is involved in drls on a pre 06, but personally, for all the cost and expense, I'd just either turn my lights on during the day or install some driving lights and mount them in the grill.

I just put DRL's in my 04 S2000 ... Quite simple to do, and cost me a total of approx. 40 bucks. (I imported from TN to Canada, so didnt have a choice)

I hooked them up on my High Beams, and they run at 60% reduced intensity while in DRL mode (didnt want to stress my hids)

All works perfectly and did not cut one factory wire ! I can remove the whole setup and you wouldnt even know they were ever there.

shoot me an email if you need any of the details.

So your DRL's are just your HIDs on at a lower intensity?

No, they're your high beams on at a lower intensity.
