Default Is it possible to wire DRL's to my projectors?

Hello I have an 06 S2000 with DRL's and was wondering if its possible to wire my HID projectors to come on during the day instead of the dimmer(yellow) 50% H1 high beam bulbs? Has anyone done this...

Probably a bad idea since HID's don't like to to be fired on and off constantly. As they might be near twilight, through tunnels,...

So what's so bad about having your taillights on during the day?

Isn't it kind of pointless to have DRLs that are only visible from the front? Traffic approaches from the rear too, ya know...

My car is a US car, so it needed drl to pass inspection here.I bought it off a guy that brought it in originally and I guess he has the hids hooked up as my drl, they turn on as soon as I put down the ebrake. I don't know where to look to see how he did it, but I'm wondering if I can reverse it as I'm worried about my bulb life
