Can "rare" S2K color combinations be quantified?

Ben, you're correct with your mention of the overcast sky look. I first noticed that a week after I brought her home when it began to rain. lol. But as far as depressing, hardly. I love it when the temp drops a couple of degrees as the clouds roll in and the thunder lets you know it could get nasty.

Now that I think of it, the similarities between my S and a storm stand out. The temp drops when I lower the top. Hitting VTEC and reving to 9k certinly sound like rolling thunder. We mentioned the color already, silverstone looks like the clouds. When shes all cleand up and flying at 90+ I'm sure the streak could corralate as the lightning bolt. As far as the rain, we all know the S is sweet enough to make those envy cry.

Back to the topic, Intrepid is correct with his "rarity" reasoning. MC Blue is rare in the states (those who CHOOSE to paint it) but is prevalent in japan, Europe, and Austraila. Also some colors haven't been produced as long as others making them currently more rare than those offered when the S first rolled out of the factories. (ex. Moonrock, Rio yellow) BTW, let us not forget our friends with Imola Orange & Imola Green, for they may have the rarest colors out there. (Combinations and custom paint excluded)

I think Sebring with "ALL RED interior and all read dash" is pretty rare. The all red was only made for 2 years.

I'm seriously not trying to insult your intelligence but what factory are you referring to?

When I say "custom" it means that black seats from a color(Silverstone, Spa, NFR, etc.) that black came in were at one point in time switched out with the seats in her GPW car giving her a black interior. I don't mean custom as in they are using different seats than the stock S2000 seats, I just mean a switch has occured at one point in time whether it was done by the dealer or one of her friends or family members.

A GPW with all black interior has not left the Tochigi factory unless it was RHD. That's what my point is.
