When they replace the windshield, they have to replace this as well. They use black weather stripping sealant to install it in the first place, so that is a good bet.

damn, i was actually advised NOT to use any adhesive, and to just get a heat gun.. apparently my blowdryer wasn't strong enough.. ended up using the sealant =-T..

oh well it's too late now

guess i should wait longer for replies next time hahaha

i'll know in the future to use it if any more deformities come up

I just took it back to my dealer and they took care of it under warranty...come to think of it, I have no idea what they did to get it back into place...hmm
