Can you feel the difference between the '00-'01 shifters and the '02?
Comparing my '00 with 21,000 miles to my brother's '02 with roughly 3,000 miles I can honestly say that there is a different feel in the shifters. My shifter is notchy, especially when cold, while the shifter in my brother's car is almost as smooth as butter. His shifter goes into gear much smoother than mine.
One things that probably helps make some of the difference is the fact that he's got the stock shift knob while I'm using a Voodoo knob (which shortens my throws but probably makes the shifter feel a little notchier than before since there's less weight in the shift knob).

k we had a lil S2 meet, I got to test driver a 01, and 02, I seriously can't tell the significant difference between any of the cars. The 02 shifter might feel a bit smoother, but not by much...IMO how you drive your car really makes a big difference is shifting.
