So is supercharging safe for these engines? I don't want to hurt it. I would love to supercharge it but I've heard it wears pretty hard on the engine.

Congrats on the new car, I understand the fear of FI too. For some reason it just seems less safe than N/A. Of course it is proven and reliable if taken care of and done correctly, I think the problem is it just requires more attention than an N/A car and most people arnt used to it.
