I wonder if a strut tower brace is worth the $$, can you really feel the difference when putting it on? any comment, or recommendation are welcome. :

It makes a difference on extremely bad surfaces, but most of the time you won't know it is there.

There are very mixed reviews on this issue. I have one on the way, but I don't plan to put it on until I have an xbrace to go with it. I sorta consider the two as one mod together.

The S2000 is a very specialized, specifically tuned car. If Honda felt the tower brace would have improved handling, they would have included it in their engineering. "Don't fix what ain't broke." (In my opinion, save your money)

I put my STB on first and felt nothing. Some others may feel a difference, but not me.

To re-phrase your question, Does the STB help handling. Just because you feel a difference doesn't necessarily mean it's helping you. I'm a firm believer that it helps my handling characteristics. Some drivers might not push their car hard enough to even feel it, but I've pushed my car hard enough to say it does. Hope this better helps your decision on buying a STB to fit your needs. Althought if you don't have it yet, a spoon/speed x-brace is more noticeable when daily driving.

No. But, it is a good place to lean on when working on your car...and it looks pimp!!

tying one flexible point to another is not going to help torsional rigidity one bit.

now if you have serious amounts of cowl shake, which the S2000 does not, it might help you there. I guess you could feel it if you drive on seriously bumpy roads.

Front - No
Rear - Yes

You may not notice the difference right away, but the benefit is there. Either you can put one on now to prevent the chassis from shaking itself loose or put one on later when that has already happened.

STBs are highly recommended if you're going to run stiff springs and shocks.

The front tower brace is useless for making your car handle better? Can you imagine the world of hurt you would be in if your front strut towers/shock towers were flexing so much as to alter camber??

Also, they wouldn't help for that anyway. As you turn around a corner one side dips down and one side goes up. The STB just moves with the movement of the towers. But it is useful for putting your hand on when working on your car!!

Now a 3 or 4 point triangulated one is different, but that isn't what we are talking about. WE are talking about the rice-tastic ones.
