ok. im deciding between a s2000 or the evo. im 16 years old and so confused of what to get. im going to make a list of major advantages and disadvantages. i have a whole shitload a friends so u got to understand i really cant afford to have a 2 seater but S-2000 a beauty. Also i heard the EVO Mr is coming to the us. So i really dont know what to get. so tell me what u think.

A 16 year old should never own a car like a S2K or EVO. Any parent that would allow their kid buy ether car needs to rethink that decision and I personally question their ability to be a responsible parent. Getting your kid what they want just because you can, or other kids have them, does NOT make a responsible parent.

I'm sorry and I'm 100% positive you feel that you have the skills and brain enough to handle a 240hp sports car. But the fact is you don't. First time some chic strokes your crotch and says "Go Fast", you will start thinking with the other head do something stupid and possibly get yourself or someone else killed.

If you do get a S2K or EVO, then I sure hope you respect the power they have and drive safe.

I would suggest you get a Z3 or BMW 3 series (Seeing as you can afford an S2K or EVO. This way you still look good, but you

i understand your concern and i agree with you 110%.
But what i'm saying is that if his parents want/ allow him to get those cars....Let them. Its their money and their son. You know what i mean? One day, they might have to pay the price more than just paying for 30k car for 16 year old, but i hope they dont.

 

lol. well ive gotten that alot and i do respect the power defintley but my dad wont let me get a cheap car. because he thinks the more expensive the safer the car. and i argued saying expensive doesnt mean safer but he really likes the S-2000 a lot. i wanted a civic or a prelude like everyone else but he doesnt want me to have such a common car. and im taking a performance driving class in the summer so i can learn how to control all the power.so i should be covered.i agree with u about the wrecking thing cuz i plan to race on the streets with friends civics and eclipses. but i dont agree my parents are irresponsible. they just want the best for me.and the z3 used tolook good but if u look closely at the front its ugly. someone pointed that out about the car. and the z3 so not worth the money. s-2000 beats it in everything. looks speed handling everthing.

 

given everything i really think you should get Evo. it looks good, easier to handle and it has 4 dr.
And i'm sure Evos are very popular among your peers.

 

yeah i know but the s2000 looks so much better and interior omg its so awesome. the evo has major reliabilty issues. my friend todd has a red evo and his clutch went bad 2 times and he doesnt launch it at high rpms.
