which car is better choice?
It's odd to me that you haven't mentioned the RX8 as an option. Sure it's slower, but looks better and is rarer than some mitsu EVO. Add the reliability issues and it seems to be a no-brainer. And if you're running around with that kind of money, you can always make the RX8 as fast or faster than an EVO.
he the one trying to start shit with me. he dont know wtf he talking about. he has some good points but hes just too much.
I guess if I told you not to stick a needle in your arm or snort some coke or do X, I just don't understand and I'm only trying to stop you from having fun. Yep, thats me, old Grandpa with nothing better to do than be a old fart talkin shit
Good luck in the choice you choose and drive safe
Calm down, V8_killer. Calm down. Everyone here, is, one way or another, trying to help you and your decision.
Ok, you insist on the S2k or the EVO. I'm sorry to say but you'll crash it, one day or another. Almost everyone I know crashed during the first years of driving. I did, my brothers did. It

well the rx8 around here is nowhere near as rare as s2k and the evo expecially. the s-2000 look better and faster on track. handling better.and rx8 fully loaded is same as 04 s2k.and i dont really like the looks of rx8. and ive searched for aftermarket parts and theres not many or maybe i havnt searched hard enough. and rogerio i totally agree with u about me crashing my car.no one can be perfect but u learn from ur mistakes. and honda had excellent safety records.i dont know about the s2k but overall honda got 5 stars for five of their cars.more cars than any other cars.and branvic let me learn the hard way. and a main reason i trust my dad is he races at tracks with his rx-7 and ive drivin his car alot and it runs 12.8 in 1/4. and actually ive been drivin for 1 1/2 years on and off.
Is this for real? I feel like I'm watching Jenny Jones or Maury Povich. "Oh Maury, my teen is a speed demon and I don't know what to do?!"
If you looked up adolescence in any behavorial development text, guess what you'd find? Preoccupation with peer group and impressing people, "you don't understand MY generation... I don't have to listen to you and you can't make me... pout pout, hissy hissy." For all us who made it safely through adolescence (mature teens included)... you don't really think you'll get this guy through his developmental stage with advice on cars, do you?
Get the kid a job, a degree, or better yet... some meaningful responsibility (volunteering, peace corps). Emotional growth is the only thing that will spur mature decision making. We're just wasting our breath otherwise.
Hope he doesn't have to learn his lessons in too hard a way. But this advice isn't for him... because "wtf and stfu and you're just jealous because I'm hot S&@^" is what the typical responses have been....
Let's all spend our time doing something worthwhile. Instead of trying to get this kid edjubacated, why don't we donate an article of clothing to our Salvation Army, or spend an hour mentoring the youth in our community so that when they hit 16, they might have a little wisdom under their belt.
