I would most definitely say that they knew what they were doing. Very clean entry and got the steering wheel without tearing things up.

Sorry man, I have had it happen to me. The worst part is you feel so violated. I was always paranoid with my Integra just because it tops the most stolen cars list, now I am paranod about something like your situation happening to me.

I hope you find the bastards.

Why do you think they stole your registration?
I had the registration in the secret compartment with the owner's manual. They're not there anymore so I guess the thiefing lowlifes took them also.

XLeezardX,

I live in Tampa,Fl. If you see a pearl aluminium shift knob without the 6 speed engraving being sold in Tampa, or seats, steering wheel, or even owner's manual let me know please.

For some reason this whole situation makes me want to buy a gun. My neighbor told me that this is the first theft that's happened in our neighborhood in years.

Rick, I'm in Tampa also. I'll put out some feelers for info and see if I find anything. I've found, and have had arrested, local theives before. I haven't been in the "scene" lately but still talk to a few of the big local honda guys that hear about someone selling parts.

I hope they get caught, I hate worrying about shit getting stolen.

Quick question, did you go out that night? Notice anyone following you around/home? I wouldn't be surprised if someone saw your car and followed you then came back a few hours later.

Dave-ROR,

Thanks a lot dude. I didn't get home till about 11:00pm last night. I work over at the Disney World office by USF and live on the Countryway/Westchase area.

If you get these dirtbags caught I'll give you two FREE PASSES to Disney World. I'll hook you up.

I didn't notice anyone following me last night.

Sorry to hear about that. Unfortunately your S2K might not last long if you keep parking it outside. How about make a deal with your parents and park inside unless they have nicer cars than yours.

Yep, I wake up this morning and of coursse, the seats were stolen, the steering wheel was stolen, and my new voodoo shift knob was stolen also.

I just got the new shift knob from Ricks yesterday. Nice.

None of the neighbors heard anything because it happened during the middle of the night.

So now I'm going to be watching the local car boards like a hawk and see if any S2000 stuff shows up for sale all of a sudden.

It was a pretty clean rip off job also, no scratches anywhere, so the scumbags that stole everything obviously knew what they were doing.

I've only had the car for a month and some ****ing lowlife has to ruin it for me already.

I guess accidently leaving the car unlocked was good in a way because those pieces of shit didn't slash the top or break the window.

And yes, I haven't ordered the seat locks yet because I had the "it can't happen to me mentality". I live in a pretty nice neighborhood so I guess I had a false sense of security.

****ing scumbags
I so feel for you, RickF1.
I received a quote of $450 for a Viper car alarm/interior motion detector (installed). I'm comparing prices and searching for consumer reviews. If I have it installed, I'll keep you guys informed as to its performance.
Again, RickF1, I am so sorry. I hope you find them, and I hope they are prosecuted.

You really should not state that your car was unlocked, as your insurance may look at that as negligence on your part, and deny your claim... I'm not trying to be an a$$hole, just being honest....
