That sucks big time, bit consider yourself lucky your car is basically undamaged (assuming your steering column is ok - cross fingers) - my old civic got crowbarred open a few years back just for the stinking radiio. Bent frame, bent door, and torn up dash. Your guys knew better and left the crappy stock radio behind

Don't mean to make light of it of course, but hopefully it's just a matter of paying the deductable and dropping in new parts. Good luck!

PS- if your insurance company gives you a break on rates for seat locks, then go for it, but otherwise why bother? By the time they find the locks, they're inside and up to no good. You'll probably end up with slashed seats and a trashed interior.

This is why I have a camera outside of my window watching my car. Everyone in the neighborhood knows it too. Just in case they have any ideas. The cam is close enough to see faces. Also it has good enough light sensitivity so that at night I can see everything that is going on. A little paranoid? Maybe. But at least I have some peace of mind.

Seriously, what are the odds that these pieces of shit will be found? Slim to none?

Since they knew what they were doing, they've obviously done it before.

Thieves need to be dragged out back and shot in the ****ing head.

Also, I just heard that another S2000 got its seats stolen in my area. The insurance guy said if happened last night also.

Sorry for your lost and hope your insurance company treats you right. What year is your car? The may total it. Damage could be close to $10000 in their eyes

Sorry dude
I was just quoted a price of $8.789.00 (excluding shipping) from Lancaster Honda (Lancaster, California). And get this: they're shipped in several pieces. And you have to put them together! So including shipping, we're talking about well over 9 grand.
Ergo, I say we simply shoot any and all mofos who attempt to burn our seats!
Anyone here know whether or not Viper makes a good alarm/motion detector?

does the insurance still cover you in full if you leave the door unlocked?
do they try to investigate to make sure it's not an inside job?
im curious

sucks but comes with the territory.

Why did they take your registration?? I feel for you, I used to live over by St.Pete and my intercooler got jacked off my old civic one night. You might want to let the DMV know your registration was stolen, just an idea?

Sometimes they do this when they take the car somewhere to strip it so the cops can't trace it back to the owner as fast. Obviously not a factor here but may have been done out of habit...
