Default Car care question

Hi, guys:

I parked my car outside for two days, and I noticed some 'ruff' feelings on certain parts of the car. Kindda feels like the 'over spray'. I'm thinking it might be some glue-like stuff from the tree. Anyone has this experience? If so, would a wash get rid of it, or does it need some special care?

Thank you.

I figure washing your car carefully would take care of the problem. If it doesn't, clay bar and wax it and your paint should look fine, unless you've got some horrendous stuff on your car that clay bar can't even get rid of. In that case, you would need something more abrasive.

I would not use anything abrasive to remove a surface contaminant from your paint. You will scratch the clear coat. There are solvents specifically designed for this.
