Default car cover question

I just bought a car cover and i had a few questions about it. It is a genuine honda car cover with the antenna sleeve and mirror sleeves and all the other things. It has a soft inner liner and i was wondering if i could put it on when the car is wet, and if it does rain on it should i take it off soon or will it be fine to stay wet and dry naturally. any info would be great.
thanks
alex

My advise would be to use it when the car is fairly clean and dry. It's listed as an indoor cover, but many members leave it on outside.

Yeah, I would take it off, if it is wet and don't put it on if the car is wet.

With the price you paid for the OEM cover, you should have got the Noah one. That is the one I have. It has better water resistant.

I agree with JSWhaler, the OEM is a indoor/dry car cover.

I used mine outside once and it was a damp evening. The next morning, my car was covered in mud because what little dust was on the car turned to mud when the dampness was transfered through the Honda cover onto the surface of the car and my car was a mess.

I agree with others here the OEM car cover is for indoor use only. Used outdoors the sun will rot it in a matter of months. For an outoor cover check out the weathershield HD from Covercraft. They have the pattern for the S2000 and make a custom fit cover just like the OEM.

I used use the OEM cover under a weather resistant cover. I found the inner surface of the weather proof cover was chafing the car under the slightest bit of wind. With a two cover setup the plush lining of the OEM cover keeps the car scratch free and the weather resistant cover keeps the OEM cover dry.
