Default Car feels slow as mud

hey guys, I have always noticed since i bought my car used, that it will have good days, then bad days. Somedays it will feel fast, then other it will feel like its struggling to get to the speed limit. Anyway the car as 30k miles on it, what are things to check for in this aspect? the car sounds fine, changed out all my fluids but brake and clutch.

What should I check/do to fix this??? thanks guys

Cool mornings make the S happy, Hot afternoons make it sad.

note the temp outside and how much stop and go type traffic you are in when the problem happens. I see a huge difference when summer hits.

The reason cooler weather is better is becuase air becomes more dense hense your motor is recieving more air.

it doesnt bog or cut out or anything like that it just seems like... its extremely slow. I feel like im driving a civic with a lawn mower engine or something idk. its pretty bad. my car was struggling to get up to 70 on a slight incline shifting at redline.

The weather is pretty hot its probably high 90's. I noticed it was even 10 times slower with the AC on. For that reason i try to go w/o it lol

Seems just like its making more noise/reving higher but im not going any faster.

Is Vtec kicking in? If not check your oil level. I would hang around for a bit until some of the more mechanicaly inclined members join in.

go to pepboys and buy a bottle of lucas upper cylinder and injector cleaner. i used it at 30k and it gave my car back its power. i was suffering from the same problems as you. For 3.99 it really does make a big difference.

The car's ECM will pull timing when it's hot outside to help fight detonation. I am not sure there is much you can do. If you have your doubts you can get a compression and leakdown test. You said you changed all your fluids, is your air filter in good condition?

yup... check/change air filer and do compression and leakdown tests.

s2k's are noticably slower in hot weather, especially with a/c on.
