Car locking mechanism
Do s2000's have an auto locking feature? When you put the key in the ignition do s2000's lock themselves, and then unlock when they key is taken out? The reason I am asking is that my S is having issues with unlocking after the ignition is turned off, and it always thinks the damn key is in the lock, and after making three trips to the dealer (They ordered me a new ignition and lock mechanism) they called me and told me s2000's don't have the ability standard and it was the after market alarm controlling it. I bought the car private party. Any comments/suggestions?
Confused about what you are trying to say exactly, but my car doesn't auto lock/unlock based on whether the keys are in the ignition or not. My car does lock itself when you leave it turned off after about a minute though.

Just a quick update, the dealership did replace the ignition switch because of the car thinking the key was still in the ignition after pulling it out, and it solved the locking unlocking problem so far *knocks on wood*
