Car will not remote lock
Hi all
I noticed yesterday that my car has stopped locking itself when I press the key fob. The indicators flash 5 times and the immobiliser is activated, but both the doors remain unlocked.
I can lock the doors with the key, but I have to lock both sides manually.
Every time it successfully unlocks the car with the key fob.
Any ideas anyone? Has anyone had anything similar to this issue before. I've had a good scout on the forum, but I can't find this particular issue.
Thanks all
Gary

I'd be interested to see what resolves this, I also have similar problems. Except my doors won't lock or unlock - PERIOD. However, the boot does work off the remote.
The sensor that is fixed into the back of the barrel on my driver's side was broken though (meaning the actuator doesn't know what position the door lock is in). So I am waiting for a replacement one of these to land to see if that cures it.

Unlock the car. Don't open any doors. Wait a minute listening for clicks. Car should auto-lock if you didn't open either door. If it didn't the place to look in the circuit that locks the car. If it works it's at least a work-around until you sort out the problem.
