There is barely any coolant in the car but nowhere around me sells the honda coolant. The honda dealership is a fairly far drive Hope it makes it.

Well you can always fill it with water for the trip to the dealer. Better than driving it with nothing in it.
That and the way your post sounds leads me to believe that possibly your thermostat may be getting stuck
