Well after reading all of the responses from everyone, I can say that for all that laugh, and critique my "driving skills", I say screw Bieg and all the others that followed his path. I assume that this guru of a driver is so great that he is sponsored by Honda. OK not happening...... For all the others that were supportive I want to give my thanks to all of you. It takes a real man to admit when he made a bad call, Im glad others admited it as well. By the way Bieg, you sure seemed to throw a hissy fit, are you sure your not a little bitch? Might want to get that checked out................. Thats all folks

P.S. new motor is on its way
thank God for Warranty.........

Yesterday I stalled my S2000 for the first time pulling away from the robbery (gas) station. While other people watching may have "got a laugh" at this, it does not mean I can not drive. I have not missed a gear (yet). The mistake you made though much more serious could be made by any one of us at any time. To bad for you it happened at the worst possible time. Good luck.

miamiS2000, I agree with you and am quite pleased that you are getting you engine taken care of. You are right in that some idle critics among us have nothing better to do than to criticize people of making a tragic, yet innocent, mistake. What we have here is a few loud, but very bitter and vocal people who would rather throw stones and attitude than to offer some valid and constructive input on how to avoid this kind of thing from happening to others among us.

I'm glad you are getting your engine replaced...very cool. I know what it is like to lose an S2000 and not sure whether or not I would be getting another one, glad you have a second shot like I did. Use it wisely and have a freaking blast...that's what it's all about!

Kudos, my friend...

It's posts like these that drive people away from the board rather than to it, and we can all benefit from more versus less people here.
Sure, sells more advertising and Greg can use it as leverage to get MORE free parts.

I resent people who have something to sell, or something to promote that benefits THEM preaching to me what to say and how to say it on this forum. I am not selling or promoting anything (but honest un-biased posting) and get no personal gain by posting. I expressed my opinion. I did not make a personal attack. Others (read above) made personal attacks (which according to the forum rules are NOT allowed) and they can post with no comment.

Are there Any MODERATORS here that want to enforce the forum rules who are not concerned about the sales demographics?

I was NOT refering to you. There have been MANY people here (and the previous forums) over the the past 18 months who have done this and insisted on blaming the car. You admitted it and for that you deserve all credit.

Gregstevens, where's the valid and constuctive input? Did we all learn how to get over on Honda when you pop a valve during a street race with a turbo civic? I don't see it, man. I think this guy came on here bitching about his car, and needed to learn that misshifting is pure 100% driver error, even if accidental and excusable.

It's fine to put your arm around a suffering fellow owner to console them, but don't feed their delusions.

Oh but he has to be all warm and fuzzy,...they might be future customers for his sponsors. Think revenue, think user base, think demographics, think marketing and you will see why he has to be supportive of everyone he can.
