CAR TOOK A DUMP
Why do some people think the truth should always be sugar-coated? Granted some people are overly harsh at times, but I do see those people's point here. The DRIVER made the mistake -- not the car! Let's call a spade a spade.
I would be more apt to feel sorry for him if he didn't try to play this off on the car. JMHO...

i'm sorry, should I say that you're a dick, or that G-d is a dick for making you? semantics....
i understand though, you ARE from new york where being an asshole is just about a prerequisite

So Sondra, it's ok for you to come down on Bieg for coming down on someone but it's not OK for Bieg to come down on someone for posting misinformation? It seems kind of hypocritical to me. You might want to consider taking your own advice - If you don't like what Bieg posts you're welcome to skip it. I don't want to belong to a board that is full of political correctness and people are only encouraged to say "nice" things. As long as it's not disrespectful or personal people should be free to post their thoughts, popular or not.

Actually our car is the "reincarnation" if you will of a couple of other cars Honda made back in the late sixties (I think) called the S500 and S600 which shared many of the characteristics of our car. You may want to do a search on those cars and read some of the posts.
I don't think it was the context of Beig's post that was mean, but the manner in what it was spoken, but I guess if your from New York, the NY attitude will come out in you no matter how you state your case. Mebbe we all should follow Stike's advice and just ignore Bieg from now on.

I think a better choice would be a sequential shifter!!
Seriously, a true sequential shifter is about the only thing this car is missing (not that the 6-speed gearbox isn't sweet)!

I'm with you...doesn't have to be electronic, it could be a rachet shifter like the type used on motorcycles.
