Four of us Arizona guys are going to Laguna Seca and are interested in caravaning with other groups to Monterey. We are thinking of leaving from Phoenix or Flagstaff, driving to San Diego or Los Angeles, spending the night, then driving along the coast to Monterey on Sunday.

Are any Texans or New Mexicans passing through AZ on the way to California?

Are any of the California groups interested in doing the drive up the coast with us? (Zot+San Diego, Team Irvine, West LA, we are talking to you!) We are flexible, and could probably meet up in Phoenix, Flagstaff, San Diego or LA.

Thanks,
Tanq

Tanq, how many miles is it for you guys? I will direct the Texas folks over to this page and hopefully you can hook up with them...

See you in January!

Tanq,

You know that Team Irvine plus will be in full force. However, Mike is the organizer. I am sure he will see this thread.

Quite a few of the Chicago 7 will be in attendance.....

Me
Greg
GTRPower
Jason Saini

These are the ones that come to mind - but I guess I need to go back and see who the Chicago 7 are!

The SoCal guys can't be any "worse" than the Texans at S2KDays '01, or can they......

So what is the official/unofficial count of people in this historic caravan? I am sure the news channels would be interested.

So far, the count is.....4!

Hopefully, we can get 15 or 20 cars. Just think of Texas joining NM, meeting the AZ guys, adding the San Diego guys, adding the LA metro owners, and driving up the coast to Monterey. Now, THAT would deserve news coverage.

Of course, all of the groups might have different schedules, so we might end up with 4.

If you're looking for the caravan going the other direction along the West coast, we've got two or three Seattle S2000s so far. Planning is happening over here:

Anyone from BC, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, or northern California want to join up with us? Or even just wave to us as we go by
