Caravan to Laguna Seca?

Hey, Tanq, I'm one of the San Diego people who's planning to leave Sunday for LS. Where would you be staying in San Diego? We could set up a rendezvous point based on that, maybe (time permitting) even do a repeat of the run through La Jolla we did for Team Irvine to make the run to LA a little more interesting.
Keep us posted as to your plans.

Cal,
We don't have anyplace set up in San Diego yet....do you have any suggestions for someplace cheap but roach-free? What kind of route are you taking to Monterey? PCH?
Thanks,
Tanq
Tanq,
I live in San Diego, but I've never visited here, so I'd be the last to suggest a place to stay. You would be coming into San Diego via 8, so a place in Mission Valley would be convenient for you. Check the web, I'm sure you can find someplace within your budget. Let me know where you decide and we can work out a rendezvous from there.
I would definitely be picking up PCH North of LA. I guess I should warn you that there's no real scenic route from San Diego to LA unless you want to sacrifice a little time to go through the La Jolla and North County Coastal route.

This is the link to the thread that S2wooow started, so can we all now keep our discussions on his thread? I feel like I'm in the middle of a gossip fest trying to keep track of all these threads.
