I have a little question. Is it really worth it getting a carbon hood? It does save alot of weight (how much weight does it actually save?). And it is really nice. But if you have one, do you have to put on thoughs pins to keep it down??? Do you guys think its nicer with a carbon hood or with the stock hood. If anyone has photos of their s2k with a carbon hood please post.

Do a search you will find this discussed more times then "why did the chicken cross the road?"

You will save very little weight, Stock hood is 20lbs, CF hood is anywhere from 10 to 18lbs depending on manufacturer.

Pins depends on hood and usage also. Some you will some you don't. Most you don't have to since the use the stock latches. Some manufacturers do recommend it if racing is being done.
