Hi Folks...

I was looking at Honda's www page, and under the competitive comparisons, the cargo net for the 2001 S2000 is listed as "Standard" while other items such as seatback storage and rear window defroster are listed as "Accessory."

http://www.honda2001.com/models/s2000/competitive.html

Then, I see the cargo net listed for $39 under the Accessory section... So, it included or not? what gives?

Maybe when I get my car in April, I will print out that page and ask for the cargo net!

Just out of curiousity, who did you order the car from? A texas dealer? I couldn't find any who wanted to be reasonable on the price. Ended up buying from up north.

Last I heard it was not standard. It is worth having though.

I think that the standard cargo net is the small one on the passenger side mounted to the transmission tunnel. The one listed as an accessory is for the trunk. HTH.

That is correct. I just got my 2001 and it has the cargo net on the passenger side transmission tunnel but not one for the trunk.

If you go to the Honda S2000 Specifications and Features page (http://www.honda2001.com/models/s2000/features.html) you'll notice that "Center-Floor Tunnel Net-Pocket" is listed. I think that this is what they are referring to, instead of Cargo Net; they just used the wrong terminology. Also, isn't the Net-Pocket really is a mini Cargo Net? It performs exactly the same function, on a smaller scale.

Thanks for the quick answers. I never cease to be amazed by the depth of collective knowledge on this board.
