the alignment bolts should be covered... i would swap back my stock intake as they might try and not cover your engine knock with that on. The exhaust wont cause any problems.

ive seen CAI's suck up water bending valves causing knock

i never had any luck with non-factory warranties, everything that ever went wrong was NOT covered. the last few cars i bought i didn't buy any warranties (extra money for mods and for fixing crap NOT covered)...

I dont know since its their own warranty. If i were you I would read the fine print or call the warranty company and tell them you are considering getting an exhaust and did not want to have warranty issues and see what they say.

Being its their product logic tells me it would be easier for them to screw you over than a manufacture/Dealer warranty, but I could be wrong

I've heard nothing but negative feedback on the Carmax warranty.

The aftermarket warranty I had for my Celica saved my ass TWICE

$100 deductible to cover thousands of dollars worth of work each time.

I was the exception though, not the rule.

If they are going to try and deny your warranty on something that is expressly covered, it is up to them to prove your mods *could have* caused the damage. for a ridiculous example, if your engine explodes, they cant blame your aftermarket rims.

So wait, are you talking about the Honda regular warranty or an extended warranty you bought thru Carmax?

If it's an extended warranty thru Carmax, I promise you they won't cover the engine knock (exact same thing happened to my friend). They will do everything in their power to blame it on the owner. And take out the CAI if you take it to them.
