You are going to be running more rich with a Supercharger, especially if you have the vehicle tuned more for 'safety' and 'longevity' over absolute horsepower, which I would assume you have done, based on the fact that it's a daily driver.
A richer air:fuel ratio will cause the catalytic convertor to be working harder and generating more heat. This should, in no way, be Honda's responsibility. The supercharger can, and in fact does, directly affect what has failed on your vehicle.
