Default Cat + soft top: am I screwed?

OK- I was washing my car yesterday and it looks a cat or maybe a squirrel got its claws stuck in my top- I can't see daylight through the slices but there are definitely some small holes that are going to leak at some point.

Q: can I have this patched by a convertible top specialist or am I pretty much looking at a new top?

TIA.

Take it to the specialist and see what he says. I would think that it can be patched.

Get yourself a treestand and a rifle for the neighborhood cat. Leave the carcass lying on the street as an example to others.

I'm not too sure that a cat could put "slices" in the top.
You're a 4th grade teacher Dr. Evil? Any class trips to the Humane Society or the ASPCA?

I have a cutie cat, and she's very cute and well trained. Never had a problem with her and my cars.

As for Dr. Evil, his name says it all: "Evil!" Yes, I'm a tree hugger.

My instinct says you should be able to have it repaired without replacing the soft top. My friend had his slashed one time and he was able to have it repaired.

Good Dr.;

my only question is why waste a good cat? With proper skinning that will feed my young'ns for almost a week. Cat stew, cat burgers, cat ala dog, that kind of thing.

Besides, leaving the bones and maybe the ears makes a much more dramatic statement.

Ahh, isn't fluffy cute? not anymore...
