Great news! I plan on keeping my baby and pass it on to my son (he's only 3).

You need to come up with some more cool gadgets for the car. How about a machine gun popping out of the front bumper to kill the bad guys?

I am just shy of 75K. Really should get the car tested for compression and a leak down test. The car really holding up well. Some issues along the way.........I won't bother you with them.

Biggest is blown diff. after Dragon run. Some issues with inner CV joints and clutch rattling like mad but hey.........it's 4 years old. 2 days ago!!!! OOPS. Gotta get a belated card for her.

I now have 4.77's in the rear and need to put my test pipe back on the car. I like the extra power. Stock intake/headers/exhaust. Just upgraded plugs and an air filter.

Modifry: Good luck getting your engine rebuilt/replaced.

Congrats! You must drive your S2k like I drive my Insight. My Insight is only 1.5 years and I just turned 40k.

Now that I just got my second S, the mileage won't rack up so fast. The first S I had, I didn't drive as much as I wanted. Now, with the second, I hope to take a lesson from you and drive the car a lot more.

Dayam really nice to hear s2ks can reach high milege with little maintenance costs. Although question is is it common for s2k owners to replace clutch with low milege? I hears its like 1g to replace with factory clutch?

Yes, it is pricey unless you can do it yourself or find a licenced "back yard" mechanic to do it for you.
I'm not so sure that "common" is a good word to use here. Certainly, these are the cases that get posted here and get talked about the most. These are examples of cars that have been "driven the way it was designed to be driven". Not everyone does this and there are many "known" examples of original clutches lasting a reasonable amount of time and mileage, even on supercharged cars.

Bob, you really need to do a write up on 'how-to' get so many miles out of your tires. There must be something I am missing. What are your alignment specs/tire pressures?

BTW, sorry to hear about your engine. What was the verdict after you pulled the head?
