Default Center consol removal

Hello all, I have tried searching, and haven't succesfully found any thing in relation to my question. How do I remove the center consol cover? I just bought a Pioneer Ipod adaptor, and Sirius reciever. I figure the best place for these two units is under the passenger seat. I want to run the wires under the consol. Do I need to remove the glove box assembly to do this? The radio door is already off, and the side leg rests are off too. I just didn't want to grab a hold of the consol and go gorilla on it, I figure I will do it right and ask S2KI. Any help appreciated and thanks

the plastic center console just snaps out... grab one end and pull upwards and it'll pop out..... and for hte carpet.. there's little snaps on the sides... get a tool that pulls those snaps out without breaking them.. and pull on those and the leather/carpet should be able to be removed...or at least you'll be able to feed the wries though...

Unscrew your shift knob and pull up. I prefer to start at the back toward the glovebox but it doesnt really matter. It litterally takes 30 seconds.
